2013 Britannia £10 Silver Proof 5oz Coin NGC PF69 UC

For 2013 for the first time ever the Royal Mint released the Britannia £10 Ten Pound Silver Proof Coin weighing five ounces of pure Silver and will be struck in solid fine .999 Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by NGC as PF69 Ultra Cameo.

The reverse designed by Robert Hunt depicts Britannia facing left as is traditional, but turns her upper body in a listening pose with an Owl perched on her knee which is a traditional symbol of wisdom.
The obverse design has Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
