In 2009 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Mini-Motor Car, the Royal Mint released a special Limited Issue Mini-Motor Car £10 Ten Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver weighing five ounces of Silver and part colourised by the Royal Mint.

The reverse design depicts a Mini-Motor Car with a Union Jack Flag roof colourised while the obverse features Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
