In 2007 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first Britannia, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Britannia £1 One Pound Silver Matte Proof Coin struck in solid .958 Silver and weighing one half of an ounce of pure Silver and depicts the Britannia design from 1997 Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

This 2007 Britannia depicts the Britannia from 1997 which commemorated the 10th Anniversary of the launch of the Gold Britannia Family.
Philip Nathan created a more dynamic portrait of Britannia. With echoes of Neptune, she stands proud in her horse-drawn chariot as she races along the seashore.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
