The design Elegant and graceful, she calls to mind the 'Una and Lion' five-pound pieces of 1839 as, armed with shield and trident, she guides the British lion into the future. The obverse designed by Ian Rank Broadley is the stunning effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
