In 2005 the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Modern St George and the Dragon £2 Two Pound Gold Proof Double Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM British Flag Label.

Created by Timothy Noad, this modern interpretation of the centuries old story depicts St George locked in combat with The Dragon.
The obverse is the stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
